Political Experience:

This is my first time engaging in political life.

Biography

Born and raised in Kamloops, I attended school here graduating from Kam-High in 1991. I am a mom of a 15 year old son who is enrolled in the district. I have been a social worker in Kamloops since graduating from UCC - now TRU. Throughout my career I have supported children and families and students. I have extensive experience working within the government sector and in the non-profit sector. I have also worked in the post secondary system both as an educator and as an administrator. I believe in inclusion and that positive mental health is important for students and all who support them. I currently operate a private practice in Kamloops where I provide direct support to individuals, couples and families. I also engage in community development work related to elder abuse in the Thompson, Nicola, Shuswap & Columbia districts. I work with integrity and enthusiasm. I am committed to creating authentic and respectful relationships and working collaboratively with community partners.
